This is the sound of a summers day spent in that field. You were dozing on and off, waking only briefly. It all got a bit blissed out and hazy, like the time you were basking in the after that party, like floating in a dream. The tenth edition of my Zentrip series is a special one. Gil Scott-Heron April 1, 1949 – May 27, 2011

The great man has and will always be one of my inspirations and got me into spoken word. His music has never been far from my stereo. Most recently its been his 1982 album Moving Targets. I saw him at Somerset House last year. I'm not going to write much, many people have written eloquently about the charismatic pioneering activist, poet and musician. I'm not even going to put together a mix or compilation because again, there are many already. So instead here's a run down of the ones I've found:
