This one starts on a Caribbean island, through Brazil, Sergio Mendes, then onto some sweet summer soul; Latimore's Sweet Vibrations, a great version of Give me your Love, a bit of swing, the Motown of Smokey and one of the best basslines ever in Jackon Five's Darling Dear. Also a tribute to John Coltrane thrown in done by an unlikely pair. It ends with one great cover of the Marvin classic by two godfathers of funk and soul. Easy like a Sunday in July!!
